In the group of 16, we are going to see more of Argentina-Greece type of matches in which one side is going to pack its defence with 9 players leaving only one forward to score against-the-run-of play goal. Their plan would be for a goalless 90 minutes. Forwards are going to be tested for their patience and imagination to score a goal. Absorbing matches are on card.
It appears that it is only from q/f onwards we may be able to watch matches in which balanced opponents would be playing classic football.
